The past 10 months have been very compelling for YuzeData, as we transitioned from an idea to a business. We made great progress and are ready to start the next phase of our journey. And that phase starts with an exciting announcement: Dan Weinfurter has joined our company as CEO.
Dan is a successful entrepreneur with over 3 decades of experience. He is a growth-minded leader who places customer, team, and culture at the core of whatever he does. He has started three businesses from scratch and was a critical part of several others that began with just a plan and subsequently achieved significant scale. Dan and his colleagues placed five different companies on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies, achieving the #1 ranking at Parson Group.
This is the fourth time Dan and I have collaborated – notably, the prior three efforts fully delivered on the promise and path we desire for our YuzeData customers and team.
Dan’s thought leadership in early-stage growth includes the publication of Second Stage Entrepreneurship, Ten Proven Strategies to Drive Aggressive Growth, and a teaching assignment as an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Dan joins us from Delivery Drivers, Inc., a rapidly growing HR technology-enabled services company that was recently acquired by Walmart.
We are honored and humbled that a leader with Dan’s stature and business acumen chose to join YuzeData and lead the team as we launch our Machine Intelligence Collaboration platformTM .
Bringing our mission to life
Our plan from the beginning was for me to fulfill the role of Executive Chairman and bring in a CEO at the right time. Our entire team is thrilled that our pace of progress has led to this action earlier in our journey than expected. I will continue to focus on working with our team on strategy, product vision, market engagement and supporting the team to bring our mission to life: putting human insight into machine intelligence.
We are convinced adding human insight helps address the urgent need of many enterprises to use machine intelligence to improve business outcomes. Our data source agnostic platform makes it ‘app store simple’ to connect leading indicators to automated action, driven by the domain expertise of business users and key SMEs.
